Description
The Machine Operator, 3rd shift sets up and operates metal fabricating machines such as brakes, shears, and presses to cut, bend, straighten, and form metal plates, sheets, and structural shapes. The role includes interpreting blueprints and shop orders, positioning tooling and workpieces, adjusting machine controls, inspecting and labeling parts, documenting deviations, and following safety and environmental procedures. The position requires one year of college or technical school certification, three to six months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination; forklift licensing may be required in some departments. The York, Pennsylvania role pays $23.19 to $27.39 per hour plus a $1.50 shift premium and includes a competitive benefits package.
