Description
Laminex New Zealand is hiring a permanent Machine Operator for its Hamilton plant in Pukete. The role operates industrial machinery and forklifts, sets machine parameters, monitors production systems, makes real-time adjustments, performs quality control, and troubleshoots equipment in a safety-driven manufacturing environment. The position follows a rotating 4-on-4-off schedule with a 42-hour week and requires 2–3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience, industrial and forklift operation, physical fitness, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces. A Class 1 full driver’s licence and OSH forklift licence are advantageous, and pre-employment medical testing and criminal history clearance are required.
