Description
The Production Machinist operates and monitors assembly-line machinery, sets up and adjusts press, mold, and band-saw equipment, moves materials with overhead cranes and clamp trucks, performs deburring and finishing, inspects and maintains production equipment, measures parts with precision tools, and collaborates with supervisors to maintain quality and production efficiency. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, production-machinery experience, crane and clamp-truck operation, machine-maintenance and safety knowledge, technical-specification reading, machine-operation or manufacturing-technology certification, mold-machine and deburring experience, quality-control and precision-measuring knowledge, fast-paced assembly-line experience, and basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
