Bayonet is hiring a full-time Machine Operator in Tauriko, Tauranga to manufacture wire and underlay products. The role involves operating production machinery, setting up and changing machines, performing pre-start checks and routine maintenance, threading wire coils, troubleshooting minor breakdowns, completing job sheets, supporting distribution, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Applicants need New Zealand work rights, basic maths and English skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, physical fitness for lifting over 20 kilograms, and flexible hours; one year of manufacturing machine-operation experience is preferred. The position pays $28–$32 per hour and includes overtime rates, shift allowances, and on-the-job training.
