Description
Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Machine Operator in Milford, New Jersey to operate and monitor production machinery, work with computer control systems, troubleshoot equipment, perform basic asset care, and support production, waste, quality, and safety goals. The role is currently hiring for the second and third shifts, with an orientation on the first shift and permanent shift assignment approximately 30 days later. Candidates need at least six months of production-machinery experience, manufacturing or industrial experience, and knowledge of machines and tools; computer, tablet, or smart-device experience is preferred. The base pay is $24.25 per hour, with second-shift and third-shift differentials of $1.50 and $2.00 per hour, respectively, and eligibility for a performance-pay program.
