Description
The Machine Operator starts, adjusts, and operates machinery in a manufacturing setting, troubleshoots equipment, performs quality inspections, follows safety and food-safety procedures, maintains work areas, and processes and packages production to work-order specifications. The role requires the ability to follow instructions, understand basic quality-control methods, use hand tools, and work with basic computer or scanning technology; a high school diploma or GED and relevant manufacturing experience are preferred. The position involves prolonged standing or walking and may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
