Description
Thompson Pipe Group is hiring a full-time Machine Operator for its steel plant liner operation in Bakewell, Tennessee. The role operates presses, cranes, welders, grinders, flash welders, trimmers, rolling machines, and other metal-processing equipment; sets up and changes over presses; checks ring quality; performs repairs; loads and unloads materials; operates a forklift; and maintains station organization. The schedule is a 10-hour day shift Monday through Thursday, with overtime and weekend availability, and pays $17.00+ DOE. Preferred experience includes two years in machine operation, manufacturing, or forklift work, while forklift safety and overhead crane training are required.
