Description
The Machine Operator safely operates and sets up blanking equipment, including CNC laser, CNC band saw, CNC press brake, manual shear, and CNC and manual rollers. The role involves identifying sheet and plate or structural steel, using measurement tools, operating overhead cranes, transacting work orders, maintaining material quantities, and keeping the work area clean and safe. A high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of experience operating manufacturing blanking equipment are required, along with the ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds and perform bending, squatting, crawling, and climbing.
