Description
The Machinist will produce high-quality components for transportation, power generation, industrial, and marine industries by operating small conventional machine tools such as drill presses, grinders, kick presses, and tumblers. The role also requires measuring parts with micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and height gauges, working independently, and meeting physical demands including lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods. A high school diploma or GED, training or experience with measuring equipment and reading drawings, and at least one year of conventional machine-tool experience are required. The position offers a base pay range of $18–$21 per hour and benefits including health, welfare, and retirement.
