Description
The role operates and maintains numerical-controlled machines and automated production systems in a shipyard environment. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, positioning and securing parts, inspecting and measuring workpieces, operating and repairing equipment, maintaining logs and inventory, adjusting machine parameters, and reporting discrepancies. The position requires at least three years of experience operating numerical-controlled machines or programming automated machine systems, basic knowledge of computers, welding, technical documents, and workplace safety, and is an on-site, full-time, safety-sensitive position.
