Description
The Extrusion Operator sets up, runs, and continuously monitors a 1 ¼” extrusion line used to manufacture fiber optic cable. The role reads setup sheets, adjusts the machine, inspects products, completes documentation, cleans equipment, identifies defects, and follows safety procedures. It requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, tool and measuring-device skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The position is scheduled for 33 hours per week from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday, with some schedule flexibility, overtime availability, and full-time benefits.
