Description
The role involves selecting and securing fixtures, tools, attachments, and materials; loading raw materials; measuring, marking, and scribing workpieces; machining parts according to blueprints and work instructions; and verifying finished parts with precision instruments. It requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, precision-measuring experience, physical ability to stand and lift up to 70 pounds, and effective teamwork. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree, consistent work experience, and forklift certification. The work is performed in a shop-floor environment with potential exposure to dust, fumes, heat, cold, noise, vibration, oil, and water.
