Description
The Metal Fabrication Operator performs metal building component fabrication in a manufacturing plant, including interpreting shop drawings, operating hand and power tools, assembling and inspecting parts, maintaining work areas, updating records, and cross-training across production positions. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of production equipment operation experience, and experience with hoists, cranes, and forklifts. It involves physically demanding work around moving machinery, lifting up to 55 pounds, and potential travel, weekend, shift, and on-call work.
