Elkhart Plastics is hiring a Machine Operator I to operate molding equipment and produce molded products to efficiency and quality standards. The role includes reviewing setup sheets, maintaining equipment, staging products, meeting production targets, inspecting products, and using ovens, overhead cranes, hand and power tools, pallet jacks, and open flames. The position is a first-shift Monday–Thursday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., pays $19.00, and offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401K benefits. One to two years of manufacturing experience is preferred, and the work involves a hot, humid, noisy manufacturing environment with lifting and physical movement requirements.
