Description
DIS-TRAN Steel is hiring experienced Machine Operators to work weekends at its Eunice, Louisiana steel plant. The role involves safely operating CNC machinery, measuring finished steel structures, mounting and aligning tools and fixtures, adjusting machine feeds and speeds, changing tools, modifying cutting programs, and performing daily preventative maintenance. Applicants must be able to read blueprints, interpret reports and schedules, read a tape measure, and have basic math aptitude; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and on-site training and safe operation are required.
