Description
The Plastic Molding Operator operates and tends compression or injection molding machines to mold thermoplastic materials into specified shapes. Responsibilities include setting machine controls, loading raw materials, monitoring production and product quality, reporting defects, maintaining records, removing and assembling molded parts, cleaning molds, and operating multiple machines. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic manufacturing and quality knowledge, manual dexterity, and the ability to work overtime; previous manufacturing experience is desirable but not required.
