Description
The Machine Operator / Production Operator will prepare and operate plating tanks, clean and surface-prepare circuit boards, set temperatures and cycle times, verify finished-product quality, and may be trained in additional plating processes. The role reports to the department supervisor and Director of Operations, requires a high school diploma, involves standing for long periods and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and is performed in a manufacturing environment with noise, dirt, and chemical exposure. The second-shift schedule runs Monday through Friday from 3:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m., with some overtime available; training may occur on the first or second shift for 4–6 weeks. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour base plus a $0.75 shift premium.
