Description
The Machine Operator / Production Operator will prepare and operate plating tanks and processes for a variety of circuit boards, including cleaning, temperature and cycle-time control, tank maintenance, and quality verification. The role may receive training in processes such as Black Oxide, Deburr, Desmear/Electroless Copper, Pattern Plating, Nickel/Gold, Black Hole, Etchers, Silver, and Resist Strip. It is a Monday-Friday third-shift position with some overtime available, with training potentially occurring on a first, mid, or second shift for the first 4–6 weeks. The position requires a high school diploma, long periods of standing, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, and good vision; it is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dirt, and chemicals. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour base plus a $1.25 shift premium.
