Description
Sandefjord Municipality is hiring two permanent 100% road-maintenance employees: a Machine Operator and a Skilled Worker. The Machine Operator will primarily operate a wheeled excavator and perform ditch cleaning, vegetation clearance, cable trenching, minor excavation, construction projects, and winter preparedness. The Skilled Worker will maintain road assets, assist with ditch and vegetation work, install and empty catch basins, document road assets, and drive machines and trucks as needed. Both roles require a Class B driver's license, relevant experience, Norwegian language ability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively; the Machine Operator position also requires an M2 machine operator certificate. Working hours are Monday–Thursday 07:00–14:55 and Friday 07:00–12:50, with a six-month probationary period.
