Machine Operator, Steel Plant at Thompson Pipe Group

Thompson Pipe Group is hiring a full-time Machine Operator for its Grand Prairie steel plant. The role operates sub-arc welding equipment, overhead cranes, re-coiler machines, and other mill machinery; inspects welds and material; adjusts machine settings; performs minor repairs and lubrication; and maintains housekeeping. The position pays $17.00–$20.00 per hour, requires Monday–Friday 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. scheduling with possible overtime, weekend work, and second-shift rotation, and requires sub-arc welding certification, overhead crane training, basic mechanical aptitude, and 1–3 years of arc-welding machine experience.
