The role involves operating and monitoring track construction machines, maintaining track construction trains, and working on assembly assignments across demanding projects. Applicants need completed vocational training in track work, mechatronics, industrial mechanics, or a closely related technical field; professional experience with track construction machinery is preferred. The position requires a passenger-car driver’s license, flexibility for weekend and public-holiday work, and willingness to work up to 10 consecutive days on assembly assignments.
