Description
Eurofins Food & Feed Testing is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design, validate, and implement engineered controls that eliminate workplace hazards across its laboratory network. The role covers mechanical lifting and handling devices, ergonomic workstation improvements, equipment modifications, custom fixtures, machine guarding, automated handling, process redesigns, and specialized laboratory equipment. The engineer will lead projects from concept through implementation, develop prototypes and engineering drawings, validate performance, support installation and deployment, and create standardized solutions for network-wide adoption. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering and at least five years of relevant engineering experience, with CAD, prototyping, ergonomics, laboratory, and automation experience preferred.
