Description
Helion is hiring a Machine Shop Manager in Everett, Washington to lead the day-to-day operations of its machine shop and supervise machinists, welders, and technicians. The role manages prototyping, R&D, and production schedules; develops manufacturing strategies; provides design-for-manufacturability feedback; ensures quality and safety; and improves machining processes and workflows. It requires 5+ years of machining, manufacturing, and prototype fabrication experience, 3+ years leading or supervising a team, and knowledge of CNC and manual machining, tooling, workholding, GD&T, and mechanical design. The position reports to the Machine Shop Manager and requires flexible day and evening shifts.
