Description

Collins Machine Works is seeking an experienced Machine Shop Parts Inspector to ensure the quality and specifications of manufactured parts. The role involves conducting visual and dimensional tests using precision instruments, creating inspection reports, collaborating with the production team, and documenting nonconforming parts. The position requires a US citizen due to DoD facility access and does not offer visa sponsorship. Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: At least 5 years of machining experience
extensive knowledge of machining and machining processes
At least 5 years of experience as a quality control inspector
extensive knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques and equipment
Ability to Read blueprints and to perform tests and inspections using calibrated instruments
Portable CMM experience (FARO, Keyonce)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving Skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in fast paced environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner
