Description
The CNC Programmer analyzes drawings, sketches, design data, and processing information to determine cutter paths, cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates. The role creates and maintains CNC programs and tooling setup sheets, writes tool-sheet instructions, uses CAD/CAM and Syteline software, supports tooling procurement and CNC machinist performance, collaborates with process engineering and fixture design, and maintains quality and safety standards. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of relevant programming experience are required, with G and M code interpretation, blueprint reading, and GD&T training preferred.
