Description
Steven Douglas Corp. is hiring a Machine Vision System Programmer to own the vision-system portion of custom automation projects from concept through customer acceptance. The role designs and implements industrial machine vision solutions for inspection, measurement, alignment, and part verification; programs Keyence and Cognex systems; develops lighting, lensing, and image-acquisition strategies; integrates vision systems with PLCs, robots, motion controllers, and HMIs; supports robotic guidance and high-precision alignment; and leads vision debugging during assembly, startup, and installation. The position requires at least five years of industrial automation and machine vision experience, relevant engineering education or equivalent experience, and approximately 10% travel.
