Howmet Fastening Systems is hiring a 1st-shift Centerless Grind Technician for its Carson, California location. The role produces aerospace and industrial parts to drawing and specification requirements, operates and changes over centerless grinding equipment, performs setup and statistical process control, maintains tooling and inventory, conducts inspections and preventative maintenance, and supports production reporting and shop-floor housekeeping. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of machinery-operation experience, and legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Preferred qualifications include three years of aerospace manufacturing machinery-operator experience, the ability to read product prints, and the ability to use inspection gages and instruments. The salary range is $21.00 to $27.00, with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
