Description
Howmet Fastening Systems is hiring a Machining Tech III- Grinder for its aerospace manufacturing facility in Fullerton, California. The role sets up and operates centerless grinders, abrasive cut-off machines, double disc grinders, and other grinding equipment; prepares grinding wheels and fixtures; positions and aligns parts; makes machine adjustments; inspects parts with precision measuring instruments; troubleshoots parts and machine problems; and may train others. The position requires three to five years of related experience or training, prior machining experience, blueprint and drawing interpretation, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. It is a five-day, eight-hour shift with overtime, and visa sponsorship is not available. The salary range is $19.48 to $32.53, with medical, dental, and vision insurance and a 401(k) matching program.
