PPG is hiring a Machining Technician in Sylmar, California, for a third-shift production role paying $26.12 per hour. The position involves blending, measuring, and producing raw materials for industrial coatings; moving, packing, and sorting materials and finished goods; monitoring output quality; loading and unloading parts; masking and unmasking parts; touchup and rework; processing rejects; inspecting parts; operating a hoist; and preparing products for packaging and shipment. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently, work overtime as needed, and provide acceptable identification; manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred. The role is restricted to U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees.
