Description
Chromalloy is hiring a Machinist for a 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The role operates and programs CNC and manual machine tools, including grinding and milling, to fabricate and repair precision aircraft-engine and gas-turbine components. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, applying GD&T, inspecting parts with precision measuring instruments, setting up fixtures and tools, adjusting machine parameters, performing maintenance, operating overhead cranes, and maintaining production records. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant machining certifications, and experience with CNC, grinding, milling, or surface-grinding equipment; trade-school certification is preferred. The role may require evening, weekend, and holiday work, and only U.S. persons may be considered.
