Description
Chromalloy is hiring a Machinist to set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools for manufacturing and repairing precision aerospace components. The role involves reading blueprints and technical drawings, performing setups and tooling changes, inspecting parts with precision measuring equipment, maintaining equipment, troubleshooting machining issues, and collaborating with production and engineering teams. The position is scheduled for the first shift, Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and requires a manufacturing experience, machining knowledge, blueprint-reading ability, precision-measuring skills, and strong attention to detail. Aerospace manufacturing, close-tolerance machining, GD&T, overhead crane, and continuous-improvement experience are preferred. The role is limited to U.S. persons and requires E-Verify, a background investigation, and a drug screen.
