Description
SMS group is hiring a full-time CNC Machinist for a 3pm–11pm shift, with weekend work and possible overtime. The role involves setting up and tearing down machines, machining parts, reading blueprints and job routers, selecting tooling and machine programs, and performing some program editing. Candidates need CNC certification, two years of CNC machine-tool experience, and experience with forklifts, cranes, blueprints, hand tools, precision measurement equipment, and computers. The position includes approximately 1,000 hours of on-the-job training, a shop environment with physical labor, and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
