SpaceX is hiring a Machinist to fabricate precision parts and components for tooling assemblies and ground support equipment. The role involves interpreting blueprints and engineering information, setting up and operating manual mills, lathes, saws, and other metalworking equipment, inspecting parts with precision instruments, maintaining machinery, and supporting metalworking projects through assembly, inspection, and testing. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least two years of experience setting up and operating manual mills and lathes; CNC, inspection, threading, and nickel-based alloy experience are preferred. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime and weekend availability, and the role requires physical work in an environment with fumes, odors, and noise.
