USAM DC is hiring an entry-level Machinist in Manassas, Virginia, to operate woodworking and millwork machinery such as CNC routers, edge banders, wide belt sanders, dowel insertion machines, beam saws, table saws, case clamps, and related equipment. The role includes reading shop, work-order, architectural, and engineering drawings; performing basic mathematics and measurements; inspecting, aligning, adjusting, and maintaining equipment; following OSHA and environmental safety standards; maintaining an orderly work area; and lifting up to 75+ pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, an associate or technical degree is preferred, and at least one year of millwork manufacturing experience is requested.
