L3Harris is hiring a Machinist C in Huntsville, Alabama, for a second-shift schedule of 10-hour days, four days per week. The role sets up and operates lathes, milling machines, precision grinders, and other machine tools; interprets blueprints and engineering specifications; fabricates parts to exact tolerances; inspects and assembles precision parts; and maintains records and equipment. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent and either six years of prior relevant experience or two years of related experience after a post-secondary or associate degree, with trade school or journeyman certification, manual machining experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance preferred or required.
