Description
Petersen is hiring a Machinist II (Weekends) in Farr West, Utah. The role builds and machines parts from blueprints using manual and CNC equipment, sets up and takes down projects, operates overhead cranes and material-handling equipment, reads blueprints, performs inspections, and supports training and continuous improvement. The weekend shift runs Friday through Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Mechanical aptitude, basic measuring ability, and the ability to lift up to 49 pounds are required; prior machining experience and technical schooling are preferred but not required.
