Description
Petersen is hiring a Machinist (Weekend) in Farr West, Utah. The role builds and machines parts from blueprints using manual and CNC equipment, sets up and takes down projects, operates overhead cranes and material-handling equipment, reads blueprints, performs inspections, and maintains a safe and clean work environment. The weekend shift runs Friday through Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Mechanical aptitude, basic measuring ability, and the ability to lift up to 49 pounds are required; prior machining experience and technical schooling are preferred but not required.
