Major Tool & Machine is hiring a Machinist for a weekend day shift consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week from Friday through Sunday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role involves setting up and running CNC machines, reading blueprints and specifications, selecting work-holding methods, monitoring machining parameters, detecting malfunctions, inspecting parts, and maintaining clean work areas. Candidates need at least two years of trade school, vocational education, or apprenticeship experience and three to five years of CNC machining experience, along with knowledge of machining principles, shop math, precision measuring, blueprint reading, and GD&T.
