Description
The employer is hiring a Mainframe Database Administrator (ADABAS) for a 6–12-month remote engagement, with Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota preferred. The role manages 60+ ADABAS databases in a large-scale mainframe environment, supports integration with Software AG products, monitors and optimizes performance, performs backups and restores, applies software maintenance, troubleshoots issues, and maintains technical documentation. Required skills include extensive ADABAS administration, Natural programming and security administration, IBM z/OS and related mainframe tools, and experience with ADABAS Security, Entire NetWork, SQL Gateway, AOS, Review, and CICS Interface. On-call support is required.
