Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 9 to 13 years of Mainframe DB2 System Programming experience
Experience with Monoplex, SYSPLEX, and data sharing architectures
Experience setting up DB2 subsystems, including standalone and data sharing
Experience with DB2 backup and recovery methodologies
Experience with REXX/CLIST and ISPF programming
Knowledge of CICS and IMS architecture and DB2 interfaces
Experience with DB2 data sharing, installation, customization, and recovery
Experience with SMP/E processes
Experience with DB2 V9, V10, and V11 software migration and maintenance
Knowledge of DB2 health checks, security, and patch management
Experience with DB2 traces, SMF, RMF, and WLM
Knowledge of z/OS and DB2 system performance tuning
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Experience with DB2 Connect and IBM Data Studio
Experience with DB2 cloning processes
Knowledge of SYSPLEX, data sharing, and distributed problem-solving
Experience with problem debugging and vendor-specific PMR ticketing
