AXA Deutschland is hiring a Mainframe Developer for its health insurance IT department. The role works in agile squads focused on the existing customer base system or the benefits system and involves developing, maintaining, and supporting COBOL and Delta-COBOL applications; analyzing and resolving production and test incidents; modernizing system functions; translating business requirements into technical specifications; documenting solutions; and coordinating with interface and architecture teams. The position requires a relevant degree or comparable IT qualification and several years of mainframe programming experience with COBOL, Delta-COBOL, IBM z/OS, JCL, DB2, and TSO/ISPF, along with analytical, communication, and willingness to adopt new technologies.
