Applab Systems, Inc. is hiring a Mainframe Support contractor for an Alpharetta, Georgia onsite role requiring five days onsite per week. The L2 support position focuses on CA7 scheduler operations, including scheduling LPARs, managing batch cycles, executing batch runs, monitoring jobs, resolving issues, and rerunning jobs. The role also performs end-to-end testing across multiple projects in a PRE-PROD environment and requires hands-on experience with JCL, COBOL, VSAM, and DB2; no development work is involved.
