Description
The role leads Skilled Tradesmen in problem resolution, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, production, safety, quality, delivery, housekeeping, and waste elimination. Responsibilities include reviewing root-cause analyses, coordinating with operations, materials, engineering, quality and other functions, forecasting maintenance and manufacturing resources, managing discipline and commendations, and establishing standardized work. The position requires automotive manufacturing leadership experience, problem-resolution and manufacturing knowledge, PC and automated-system skills, communication and presentation abilities, and a journeyman card or at least six years of related experience, including two to three years in an industrial setting. It is a third-shift role from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
