The role performs routine apartment-unit maintenance and make-ready work, including repairs to structures and equipment, installation of doors, windows, screens, hardware, plumbing devices, and appliances, cleaning, and operation of hand-guided and electrically powered equipment. It requires a high school diploma or GED, 12 months of related maintenance experience, a valid Texas driver’s license, reliable transportation, availability for after-hours and holiday work, and participation in an on-call rotation. The position involves physical work such as lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
