Description
The employer is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the maintenance department under the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring buildings, equipment, utilities, lawn, and grounds are kept in good working order and maintained in compliance with resident needs, regulations, and company values. The role includes minor repairs, preventative maintenance, safety and cleanliness checks, assisting with drills, hanging items in resident and office areas, incident reporting, and occasional floor care in a healthcare/office setting. The position requires regular attendance, weekend and overtime availability, strong written and oral communication, and problem-solving ability; previous maintenance experience is preferred but not required, and COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment.
