SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is hiring a full-time Maintenance Assistant, Carpenter, in its Department of Facilities Management & Development. The role performs semiskilled carpentry and facilities maintenance, including repairing and constructing wood structures and equipment, installing and adjusting door hardware and glass, building shelving and other fixtures, assisting skilled tradespersons with building, roof, and concrete work, erecting wall partitions, and replacing floor and ceiling tiles.
