Description
The Maintenance Assistant performs general operating maintenance, repairs, housekeeping, and physical-plant upkeep for a senior living residence. Responsibilities include light electrical, painting, carpentry, HVAC operation, equipment inspections, preventative maintenance logging, work-order management, safety compliance, and facility cleaning. The role requires a high school diploma, maintenance and housekeeping knowledge, biohazardous-waste handling knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
