Description
The Maintenance Worker performs minor and major repairs and maintenance for Bickerdike’s apartment units, buildings, grounds, and equipment, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, flooring, and lock replacement. The role completes work orders, prepares vacant units for re-occupancy, maintains preventive maintenance schedules, responds to emergency calls, communicates with tenants, and travels to various property-management sites. It requires 3–4 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, tool ownership, communication skills, flexible and on-call availability, a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and access to a car.
