Description
The Equipment Maintenance Technician inspects, repairs, and maintains concrete-production equipment, including trailers, heavy equipment, and hydraulics. The role follows preventative-maintenance schedules, maintains equipment records and parts inventory, ensures DOT, OSHA, and ANSI compliance, supports production goals by reducing equipment downtime, and coordinates with operators, foremen, vendors, and contractors. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical and communication skills, and three years of maintenance experience; it is outdoors year-round and requires physical work involving lifting, climbing, and extended standing.
