Description
The Maintenance Controller serves as the technical liaison between maintenance, crew, aircraft representatives, and vendors, scheduling aircraft into maintenance, coordinating maintenance events, tracking work orders, monitoring aircraft cycles and flight hours, managing MEL and CDL compliance, releasing aircraft for return to service, and overseeing large maintenance events. The role requires a current A&P certificate, 3–5 years of maintenance control experience, familiarity with maintenance tracking software, and expert knowledge of 14 CFR Part 135 and Part 91 maintenance requirements.
